West Valley Connector | SBCTA

STC is currently supporting Phase One of the West Valley Connector project, a 19-mile-long BRT corridor that crosses the cities of Pomona, Montclair, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga and includes 33 stations at 21 major intersections with roadway and communications improvements, premium transit service, Transit Signal Priority (TSP), dedicated lanes, and integration with other bus routes. The high-profile project includes signal modifications at a majority of signalized intersections along its route including upgrades to signal controllers and software and the addition of GPS-based receivers to implement TSP.

STC is providing construction support services, signal timing review, review of existing infrastructure for TSP, specialty traffic signal and communications inspection for the BRT system, traffic signal controllers, and communication system networking.
